Welcome to kcm-ict department
The Information and Communication Technology department welcomes you to Kabalega College Masindi. The department id headed by Mr. Ayebale Romeo. The ICT department started as a small section since the start of the College with some single ICT personnel whose primary role was to provide typing services to the college. With the Growth and expansion of the College, there was need for the establishment of an independent well equipped computing facility due to high demand of computing services by the College staff and students as a result of worldwide evolution of technology. The College currently employs over 7 ICT personnel’s as technical and teaching staff. The college currently offers different ICT courses at certificate and diploma level.

ICT Services
Internet & wireless Connectivity
The ict department establishes & supports the network infrastructure which allows college staff and students to access wired and wireless networks. Wired network is available in specific rooms like offices, library, Computer and Science Laboratories. Wireless network is all over the college premises. Using your kcm student or staff details you are able to connect to the wireless network on your preferred mobile device.
KCM E-library Access
The ICT department is in charge of granting user access to the kcm electronic library to the staff and students to ease research. The e-library was developed by the ict department having realized difficulties in accessing library resources by distant students. For one to access the e-library system MUST have a student number and password all generated by the ict department.
Computer maintenance & repair
The ict department is responsible for providing repair services to the college and personal computers. It is also responsible for maintaining the computer systems by ensuring that software is update, security patches installed. The department goes ahead to provide password reset on mobile devices for staff and student.
